As an outstanding 3rd quarter draws to a close we find ourselves involved in more projects and having more fun then ever! The team here in Thailand recently spent a rewarding session planning what’s in store for 2006 and it looks like it is going to be another fantastic year.

One of the biggest questions we're asked in relationship or loyalty marketing is why do some programs succeed and others fail? More importantly how do you ensure your programs are as successful as they truly can be?

The below is a summarisation of a recent article I wrote outlining the cornerstone of all successful programs and is the foundation of every MobyElite program. I will link to the full version in the next newsletter.

Customer Relations Management (CRM) has long been heralded as a straight forward and easy way to generate more profits in your business. Yet in the rush to get a greater ‘share of the wallet’ many companies are forgetting the fundamentals of building relationships and are ending up with nothing.

Trust. Not just of the brand but of the loyalty card or program that you are running. Trust starts with a promise. What is the promise you are making to your customers? How are you going to ensure that you keep that promise?
And whilst trust sounds very obvious (maybe why so many companies forget it), when you start to explore trust in more depth you discover some of the pillars that can be used to hold it up. Authenticity, credibility, integrity and values.
Now, you may cringe at this point (certainly at our dodgy trust image!), but actually there are many examples of this being done very well by the biggest businesses in the world.

Networking for Success continues to grow, both in the online world through Ecademy and LinkedIn and also in the offline world with the weekly breakfasts in Bangkok and soon to be Singapore.
